Week 5

This week we focused more on our 90 sec group presentation which we had to animated. As a group we worked really well together since there were only three of us that were in class each person took the initiative to show how water pollution happened in NZ one had the task of researching what would happen in the future if water pollution kept getting worse, another one had to research the present which was what is happening to NZ in the moment and another person (me) had to research how water pollution occurred in NZ in the first place. Some of the facts that we found as a group was 76 percent indigenous freshwater fish species (39 of 51) are threatened with extinction or at risk of becoming threatened

Currently in New Zealand we are facing increasing levels of water pollution as an effect of poor farming practices. After me and my group decided to add all this information into canvas we were very glad yet sad at the Same time. The reason behind this was because many fishes are suffering because of human decisions, yet as a group we were one step closer to finishing our presentation which was why I was glad. This lecture truly made me reconsider my decision from now on how my actions are affecting everything and everyone around me. I feel like this is a wake up call for anyone who doesn't care about our planet. To those people I only say "WAKE UP"

Animation

After that, we often discuss together how to improve our animation. Of course, we also assign some clear tasks to each of us. I was assigned the main character design and background because I draw better. After that, we also discussed the problem of setting people for a long time, because each person's style of painting is different and it is difficult to unify them together. In the end, we decided to draw the background characters and so on. I also participated in the production of some animations. Edward and I were the creators of the animations, but I just helped him with the animation while finishing my tasks. Harry mainly deals with sound and background music. These are very important. I have to say that the effect is great.
