Thank y’all so so much for all the support for my silly little arts <<33 seriously y’all 300 is CRAZY!!! If someone told me 3 weeks ago that after posting on Tumblr not only will I gain all these followers in such a short time (and also get <2000 notes on a single post!!!!!!) but I’ll also find an amazing community with so many talented, creative, and funny people I would not have believed it. I am constantly so positively overwhelmed with all these gushy feelings for all of y’all that if I pour my heart out now I fear this post would be way too long :’) so for once I’m keeping it short and sweet hehehe :)

intelligence is something that isn't really as emphasized or expanded on unless it's with a character like shikamaru. for temari, it's always been more about her wind or her siblings. kankuro has his puppets, and gaara has his sand.

temari has been shown multiple times to be a high-skill level strategist. first, she was thinking on her feet in the chunin exam finals and staying out of shikamaru's shadow grasp. THIS now is acc impressive, because shika's been said multiple times to have an IQ of over 200, and he regularly beats asuma, his JONIN sensei, in shogi matches. secondly, when she defeated one of the second stage curse marked sound four (tayuya of the north i think), accurately calculating distances and creating formulas on the spot to use her wind jutsu and to use kamatari. AND in that same fight at the end, she flattened a WHOLE forest. like wtf.

her strategy is underrated aslll. and nobody can say her intelligence is only for diplomatic purposes just because she's the jonin ambassador for the sand. in both of those other situations, when she was only 15 too at that, show that her strategy is practical and combat suited.

in combination with her strategy, is her strength because holy fuck like i said before. she can cut down a whole section off of a konoha-dense forest (dense af) with just one powerful swing. especially when she's older and capable of more, she's able to cause catastrophic damage, top tier type shit. like when she fought konohamaru, girl wiped out a good three acres at LEAST. plus her vacuum pockets, wth.

now, for MADARA, though she didn't do any physical damage, she was still actually able to physically push him back and break his momentum, which is a show of how ridiculous she is, for both brain and brawn, because this was literally madara uchiha, the ghost of the uchiha.

call me biased, but it aint crazy at some point to say she had to be at LEAST somewhere 'round border-low kage level.
