What Is Choeography and Its Importance in Kathak?

so for one of my classes, we had all summer to come up with a concept for a 5 minute dance piece, pick 2-3 songs that fit our theme and start thinking of some choreographic things.. we're discussing our ideas in class tomorrow

I had a lot of stuff in mind and planned out.

but I just completely changed my entire concept/style of piece and my music choices tonight.
