There will be some kinks to iron out and a period of experimentation, she says, but “with the proper training for leadership and team members, this can work”.

All the current members who have mentioned that they will participate will have a name privately messaged to them, and on Christmas week, December 23rd to 29th, your muse can send presents to them via submission box, or posting them and tagging the blogs the muses are in.

Presents can be IC materials, like gifts that the muse can give OR another option can be to make edits/banners/gif sets/icons/etc for the muse or mun as a gift to the mun. You can do both as well.

This is not one of those secret santas where you’re mailing physical objects to each other. It’s supposed to be only on tumblr, and not supposed to cost any money. The point is to show appreciation to your rp partners and have fun while you’re at it.

St. Louis | Largest Inflatable Water Slide In Midwest Opens In St. Louis

St. Louis, MO – An extreme interactive amusement thrill-ride began operation at Aloha Mini Golf & Shave Ice late in the 2018 season.  ‘Aloha Thunder‘, a massive 42’ tall inflatable waterslide, claimed to be one of the largest in the country, opened as the centerpiece of a new inflatable waterslide park, ‘Aloha Escape’, coming to the facility in 2019.  After climbing the giant slide’s foam-step tunnel to the top, riders are sent down a chute, then into the air, before safely landing onto a giant pillow-like airbag. The ride has height, weight, and age limits, as well as a trained staff of 4 employees with a set of safety rules that are very strictly enforced.  Guests can ride for a half-hour or hour-long sessions in 2018. 

The company expects season pass packages to be available over the holidays for purchase for the upcoming 2019 season.

Aloha Mini Golf & Shave Ice is a local St. Louis area business situated a mile west of Interstate 270 on Big Bend Rd at the intersection of Dougherty Ferry Rd.  For the past four years, Aloha has been a steadily growing business, offering 18 holes of mini golf in a park-like setting, along with high-quality Hawaiian shave ice, respectively.  Late in the 2018 season, ‘Aloha Thunder’ was ready for riders.

Owner Pete Kreamer says, “We wanted to offer an exciting activity to compliment Aloha’s tropical theme. We also needed something with water to attract customers on hot summer days.  Inflatable water slides were literally a perfect fit.”  The company plans the addition of several smaller water slides in 2019 to accommodate younger customers not eligible to ride Aloha Thunder.  Attracting birthday parties and group outings based around the new ‘Aloha Escape’ Inflatable Waterslide Park, will be a primary marketing focus, but the company will showcase the massive Aloha Thunder water slide as its main attraction.  “There really isn’t anything to compare to this ride,” says Kreamer.  “It’s the largest device St. Louis County inspects outside of Six Flags,” he maintains, pointing to a posted permit issued for the ride in July.  Since 2016, the company, which employed a record 15 staff members in 2018, installed new turf to the mini golf course, updated its tropical gardens, added a deck and awning around the service area, and additional picnic tables and benches.  The addition of cutting-edge inflatable water slides is intended to fill the needs of customers during peak season who want outdoor water-sports and seek adrenaline-craving action adventure. It will also serve customers of all ages who just want to splash around in the water on hot summer days. 

The company opens March 1st each year with the peak season beginning around May 15.  The season generally ends around Halloween, weather permitting.

How to HotBox Like A Pro

No matter where you are there's probably a way to hot box the space (or a space nearby). In order to make your hotbox experience memorable and fun it's important that you give it some thought beforehand, come prepared and bring lots of weed, if you don't have enough weed to smoke to fill the space your hotbox experience will be disappointing. Also, think about who you're inviting in, the hotbox is a community event and participants should be prepared to settle in a get comfy for a bit so make sure you will enjoy the company. 

The Science of Hotboxing

Every stoner will tell you that the high from hotboxing is headier and more pronounced than just smoking a joint. There is a good reason for this and it's not just because you were sitting in a room filled with smoke - although that certainly helps. Over at John Hopkins, they did a study on second smoke and had people sit in enclosed spaces with other people smoking weed. The second-hand smokers in the unventilated space had higher levels of THC in their blood than the second-hand smokers in the ventilated space. See, science confirms it.

The other reason you get so lit in a hotbox situation is that you are sitting in a room with too much carbon dioxide and not enough oxygen which can cause dizziness and amplify the effects of your pot. Cue the theme music to those The More You Know spots...

Hotbox #1 The Car

When hotboxing a car, it is imperative that you find a relatively secluded spot so as not to draw unwanted attention to your likely illegal activities. We recommend not actually leaving your home as driving while under the influence is never a good idea.

To successfully hotbox a vehicle you need to ensure that all the windows are up and that you have at least a couple of joints on the go. Remember that hotboxing is a community event and the more people, the merrier plus also the stronger the effects will likely be. 

 Hotbox #2 The Bathroom

This is a personal favorite of mine. I love a good bathroom hotbox and in my youth was considered to be highly skilled at bathroom hotbox set ups. What made my bathroom hotbox the bomb was the inclusion of steam. After placing rolled up towels against the door crack I would crank up the water to HOT and let it free flow like a steamy waterfall. It created a sauna like atmosphere and was a real crowd pleaser. Added points to whomever stood on the (closed) toilet lid to keep their head high in the "clouds".

Hotbox #3 A Tent

First, a warning: Tents are typically made of highly flammable materials so proceed with caution. Ensure that you have an ashtray handy for roaches and watch that you don't drop embers or get all crazy and wave your lit joint around in this small enclosed fire hazard of a space. 

Having said that... Hotboxing a tent is a true back to nature experience that every outdoorswoman needs to put on her bucket list ASAP. Imagine filling your tent with your friends, everyone cosy and comfy on a pile of sleeping bags while you pass around the Js and tell ghost stories. When you emerge from your smoky cocoon you'll be amongst the trees, animals and will be awed by Mother Nature. Trust me, it's awesome - don't forget to bring the ingredients for s'mores. 

 Hotbox #4 The Sauna

This works best if you or a friend has a sauna - do not attempt this at the gym or your local community centre. That probably should go without saying.

Remember to bring water to help you stay hydrated so you don't get too woozy and light headed. Nothing like a fainting spell to harsh your buzz. When sauna-ing I like to mix things up and alternate between dying of heat in the sauna and shocking my body with cold water outside of the sauna. When hotboxing though, you need to limit the number of times you open the door and let the smoke out so come prepared to tough it out as long as possible but don't be that one die hard who wont let anyone out. Be cool, getting sick sucks and hotboxing isnt exactly the healthiest of activities so mindfulness and paying attention to how you're feeling is key to a good time.

Hotbox #5 Snow Fort

If you live somewhere that gets cold, snowy winters you are in for a treat! This is a group activity and not just because you'll need all hands on deck to build the best snow fort north of the equator but because and I cannot stress this enough, hotboxing is best in a group. 

So first, you'll want to build your fort. You don't have to carve bricks out of ice - just create a snuggly little dome with enough room to crawl into with a friend or two.  Pro tip: Bring blankets to sit on because you'll want to stay in your makeshift igloo as long as possible to inhale all that lovely smoke. This might be the only way I will ever enjoy snow.
