After tutor’s feedback
In last class, the tutor gave us some heuristic points that we would be able to build the video better. For example, how to make a coherent storytelling of this design fiction is an issue for us to overcome. Thus, according to the storyboard of the video, our tutor provided a suggestion of using the hint of ‘the tree’ to show the change of the design fiction. It was much clearer to show the scenario of how children without sight from perceiving the real world with limited understanding of the entire form of the subjects to which they could understand those subjects and even an abstract element in the real world e.g. a drop of water, by touching two dimensional form in Tactile Reader.
After our tutor’s feedback, we will slightly adjust our focus in terms of the selection of shot and the voice interaction.
In this part, the filming part was established the revised storyboard.
Cindy contributed to be “hand model” in this video (See the picture as below: Cindy was touching the collage of tree). It was not easy to achieve touching the dynamic interface of interactive part and Cindy practised it a lot. Finally, well done! Good job!
