=The final designs of the main roster of shapelings=
hiya everyone, it's been a bit, but as the title says, this post contains the final designs of the main roster of characters i've made for my project, sparkdreamers.
With a total of 16 characters, three groups & one shared realm, i present the shapelings of dreamcadia.
Starting off, i have created some new updated icons to represent the official roster of characters. i've built upon the first versions i've made & refined the looks and include a couple new faces. [=OuO=]
First off are =the dreamwonders=.
Design wise, qu, blaze, skyler & alley mostly remain the same with some final adjustments, but to spice things up, i've repurposed an old oc i've had in the past and reform them into Astra.
I'm quite happy with how everyone turned out here, fitting in astra completed the JSAB influence the main team comprise off, and i'm so excited to do a group drawing of them all soon.
Next up is =the Guardians=
i've taken the time to fully polish the looks of everyone here, with kiro's half shoulder, half cape look finally figured out, refining the designs of sora / nova, cassie, pyrax & veela, and completing the group with newest member, Aqua.
I'm quite happy with the half cool / half walm coloured group, with the way they contrast between the dreamwonder & dark seekers and each other, satisfies me.
Finally but not least, are =The Dark Seekers=
four of the core members, only had some simple / fine tweaks (Prizm, Sidious, Shade & Cyrus) while vayra received one more design change to give her a more ghostly, withered appearance, which i'm quite happy with the colours on her.
Never less, i can't wait to draw them along with the others in some cool drawings.
I'm so happy with everyone's designs, i can now confidently say everyone has their perfect looks to the vision i see them all at.
while i haven't done any ref sheets for them individually, at this point with how many time i've done that in the past, i'm going to leave that be. (that way i can actually do some drawings)
One thing i will do at some point to create some side characters to pair with the main characters (and some of my other shapelings from my sister project)
before i go, i do have something else.
recently i've uncovered character hub (a website where you can create detailed profiles of all your OC's) and i've spent the past couple of days assembling all the profile's of everyone you see here.
You'll see all of their details & lore, relations, colour pallet, and even a collection of old art tied to the characters so you can see the evolution of their designs (and see the endless pain i've subjective myself too [=Q~Q=])
(Ps. not all of the lore presented in the profiles are final, at some point i'll make some personal changes as the project progress's. so take the info as a rough direction for where the character could go.)
Hope you enjoy everything presented here, with art fight over & the designs finished, i can finally get around to doing more bigger drawings, while also getting myself together in real life.
