This would be a beautiful oil painting. Photo from my collection, no date/info.
Reblog this photo of a käpylehmä to have a käpylehmä in your blog
It's a trick! If you reblog you get TWO käpylehmäs in your blog!
They're traditional Finnish toys, little cows made out of spruce cones, on their way to see the world from one tumblr blog to another
The pinecone pig brought you nothing. It just wanted some company.

Your friend’s unpublished fic idea is kind of a dead wife
i also want to read this guy’s dead wife
I have been mulling over an idea for a project looking over how filmmakers portray monsters/creatures characters(Robotic characters and animals attacking can count by the way .Debating Phantom of the Opera /Slasher types ),be it positively or negatively, and see who has the most interesting take* (Sci Fi ,Fantasy and Horror being the main genres ) I need two groups of filmmakers: Those who repeatedly return to the theme of monsters , and those who have done the theme once or twice
For directors who explore the topic many times:Del Torro ,Carpenter ,Fischer ,Cameron ,Scott,Burton ,Jackson,Dante ,Landis and Honda (May detract or add ,as I want an even split with the Monster Experts and the Monster dabblers
Currently trying to find filmmakers who have only dabbled once or twice (I have Coppola,Hitchcock ,Nolan ,Reiner ) so will take reccomendations
Doing primarly live action directors, monsters in animation feel like a whole can of worms
*Its probabbly gonna be Guillermo Del Torro or Ishiro Honda but want to give it a shot

Liljana Çefa, Portrait of Women, 1968, Pen and tempera on paper, 43 x 32 cm, Courtesy of the artist.
Liljana Çefa (b. 1940, Tirana) currently lives and works in Shkodër. Her passion for art was nurtured by her father, her primary school teachers, and her uncle Loro Kovaçi, who encouraged her to pursue art seriously. This support led her to the Artistic Lyceum in Tirana, where she studied under noted teachers such as Kel Kodheli, Vilson Kilica and Abdurrahim Buza. She was the first woman to enroll in the painting department of Albania’s Higher Institute of Arts, from which she graduated in 1966. After graduation, she returned to Shkodër, where she met her future husband. His support allowed her to fully devote herself to her art. Upon retiring at age 50, Çefa dedicated even more time to painting, teaching children’s classes, and working in her home studio. She chose to retain her maiden name, Çefa, in honour of her father’s wish for the family name to continue. Most of her significant works were created before 1990, shaped by Socialist Realist themes that were largely dictated by the ideology of the time. However, within these constraints, she maintained her unique perspective, focusing on female figures as her main subjects, whether they represented mothers, fighters, or workers. These characters were part of compositions addressing themes required by the League of Artists and Writers, and her works were exhibited in group shows, mainly in Tirana, with some becoming part of the state collection. Despite state-dictated themes, her primary inspiration has always been children, followed later by nature. Portraits of children dominate her pre-1990s works, where she found subjects in her own children, their friends, and cousins. Painting and drawing have been lifelong pursuits for Çefa, beginning with oil colours on board and canvas, and later transitioning to coloured pencils on paper, a medium she found easier to manage due to an eye condition she has had since childhood. Several works by Çefa are part of the collection of the National Gallery of Arts in Tirana. source: https://www.tiranaartlab.org/sq/project-collection/the-archives-of-three-pioneering-albanian-women-artists

It's called the Global Justice Report, it is here. This is an actionable plan which can be sent to legislators and demanded of political parties. We could save the world within our lifetimes.
It has always been possible. It is still possible.
Oh to be picked...

Like I said above. Third trimester is tough so working has been, as well. If you would like to support our new family, you can purchase us something off either of the baby registries: BABYLIST: https://my.babylist.com/baby-michelle-fus AMAZON: https://www.amazon.com/baby-reg/michelle-fus-september-2026-stevensonranch/3O5E4YXI5ARSH As you may or may not know, my husband and I don't have much of a support system. We were hoping through the kindness of my readers we could knock off all the small stuff so that my husband and I can focus on affording the larger stuff. No pressure, but anything helps!!! Thanks everyone for your support and for reading 💕🐣
Marshadow
Marshadow Nicknames:
ShadoKen / ShadowBoxer (Like a "Hadouken" punch! These monikers were inspired by Capcom's Street Fighter series. They both work because Marshadow is a strong Ghost and Fighting-type Pokémon (✿^‿^)
Boxergeist (Inspired by competitive meta-knowledge and its unique typing, this is an absolute masterclass of a nickname! Marshadow is the only Fighting/Ghost-type Pokémon in existence, and these titles perfectly blend its spectral nature with its brutal, technical martial arts background. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Kung Boo (LOL! Okay... this is hilarious. A fusion of "Kung Fu" and "Boo." It's delightfully simple, instantly understandable, and somehow perfectly suits Marshadow's tiny stature. ꉂ (´∀`)ʱªʱªʱª
Afterlife (It sounds solemn, poetic, and atmospheric, which is appropriate for its ghost-type motif! Furthermore, the name suggests that the Pokémon is so strong and intimidating that it'll send your opponent's Pokémon to an early grave! Yikes! (・o・).
Shadowkung (This is a very strong contender! It combines the core elements of Shadow and Kung Fu cleanly. It sounds like a plausible, if slightly literal, title for a martial arts master of the darkness (◠‿◕)
GhostReaper (This is intense and formidable! It sounds like the name of a high-level boss or a legendary warrior of legend. It perfectly captures that "Ghost" typing while implying a swift, decisive combat style. It feels much more "official" than a generic name and carries a lot of gravitas. It's a fantastic fit for Marshadow's sleek, shadowy design! (◠‿・)—☆
Shadowfist (Now here's a cool-sounding nickname that does the Pokémon justice! It combines its ghost and fighting-type nature perfectly (◡ ω ◡)
Phantom / Spirit / SoulEater (A list of generic nicknames for this Pokémon. It was obviously inspired by its ghost-typing. These nicknames take the safe and easy route! (◡ ω ◡)
Ghostjutsu (This is fantastic! It’s clean, evocative, and hits the "official Pokémon species" aesthetic right on the mark. By combining "Ghost" and "Jutsu," it paints a vivid picture of a martial arts master that exists between realms! (⇀‸↼‶)
Shadowstep (This is, in my opinion, one of the finest names you could possibly give Marshadow. "Shadowstep" is a term popularised in fantasy games to describe the supernatural ability to instantly move between shadows. It perfectly reflects Marshadow's Pokédex entries, which state that it literally hides within people's shadows. It also sounds incredibly sleek and professional. A phenomenal choice. ( ˶°ㅁ°) !!
Shadewalker (This is absolutely superb. It sounds like the title of an ancient assassin or mythical warrior. More importantly, it perfectly describes Marshadow's defining behaviour: travelling through shadows unnoticed. Elegant, descriptive, and incredibly cool. (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)
Marshadow Facts:
It slips into others' shadows and mimics their movements and powers. With time, its prowess will surpass that of those it originally imitated.
By slipping into the shadow of a martial arts master and copying their movements, this Pokémon learned the ultimate techniques.
Able to conceal itself in shadows, it never appears before humans, so its very existence was the stuff of myth.
