Phixed Kings Expditions: Antiochin' 8/17/2025.
Had a nice ride for Memorial Day. Met up with the folks from Bike Pensacola at the Veteran's War Memorial. I rode with the A group. I heard the A+ group can get... competitive. So the A group was fine for me. 48 miles, averaged 21mph on the way out, 16 on the way back as we fought a nasty headwind and slowed to keep from dropping people.
Group bike ride tonight! The weather was so amazing, much cooler than it’s been, no humidity, and very low wind. Doesn’t get much better! The ride was good too! I felt strong for almost the whole ride. I was charging up hills and keeping up with the lead group. I did get pinched in at one point, but made my way back. I even pulled for about half a mile at 24 mph! But there are a ton of Strava segments on this route on the way back, and I held on for a few, but couldn’t hang on the whole time. But that’s okay! I wasn’t the only one, so there was a smaller group who rode in together so that was nice! Even some of the guys at the end were complaining that some guys got a bit out of hand with the pace. So it’s nice to know I’m not the only one struggling! But still a good ride and I’m happy with my efforts 🚴🏼♀️ Hope everyone had a good hump day!

Arizona Motovlogger Meetup 2017 (AZMM17) was a complete success! Lot of bikes and people showed up. We had several smaller groups go at a time from Mesa to Globe to keep us safe and organized. After meeting in Globe, we had a big BBQ and hung out, sang SquidWithGear happy birthday, then split off to go hit the Salt River canyon in smaller groups. Man, the arizona motovloggers are a great group of dudes and dudettes. One big extended family of awesome people. Couldn't have asked for a better weekend than to spend almost 10 hours ripping all across Arizona's twisties. Next year is gonna be even bigger, we have some corporate sponsors! Hope to see come peeps out there next year!
Another Month Another Ride Poster. wooooo.
My first store ride for Team Latus Motors. 32+ people showed up on all kinds of bikes and followed me through potholes, gravel, and tree branches to the Grand Central Bakery in Multnomah Village, OR. Everyone I talked to had a good time, and we didn’t loose anyone on the route. No one dumped their bike in the gravel. I call that success.
Kind of proud that a ride that could have gone pretty badly, went so well. It was definitely a confidence booster.
There were a couple people who got there and just left after the ride that I didn’t get to talk to, so I hope they had a good time too. *crossed fingers*
