How do you go about explaining to someone that you're terrified?  That you don't want to go somewhere or do something because the idea of it terrifies you.  That you know that everything you worry about is only a slight possibility but the fact it has SOME TINY possibility of happening, makes you so scared.  Trying to listen to people who have the same problems as you, but they manifest in different ways.  Their terror and worries are helped when they talk about it, when they know someone else understands them and helps them, just babbling.  But when you hear them acknowledging their issues and talking, just talking, non-stop. And you just want them to shut up. But you don't say anything because that would mean drawing attention to yourself, which in itself is terrifying.  Which is why I like to hide. Yes I love my friends and family and interacting should make me feel better. But on some levels it doesn't. If I've just had to endure something so heart-stoppingly terrifying. Not having to formulate coherent answers if wonderful.
