“Hello?” said YooChun with his husky voice on the phone.
“Hello? YooChun oppa? where are you? you do not forget what day is tomorrow, don’t you? emm.. come to my house tomorrow at 7PM okay?! you promised me last month!!!” You said excitedly.
It’s gonna be the 6th month for yoochun and you as couple. The past two months, you did not get to celebrate your anniversary with him as he was out of the country for his worldwide concerts.
“emm.. dear, listen. I do not forget and will never forget what day is tomorrow. and I really do want to go to your house and celebrate it together with you tomorrow, but here’s the thing. Tomorrow is a valentine’s day and I have a schedule that I can’t leave, I’ve to attend a live interview in a TV station for the Valentine’s special and yeah.. sorry.. I can’t……..”
“YEA YEA YEA! I GET IT! every month is always like this anyway. you always don’t have time to celebrate our monthsary, it’s not a surprise since you can’t even wish me a happy birthday on time!” you burst out in anger. you could feel that tears were rolling down your cheek and that your heart was hot burning.
“I can’t stand it anymore. I can’t even go and see you when I want to see you. I can’t call you when I need someone to talk to. I can’t get my message reply on time!” you continued with your crying voice.
“Baby, I’m sorry. I..I really am. I’m sorry if…”
He has not finished talking and you hung up on him.
The next morning when you see your phone, there’s a message from YooChun which read ‘[your name] I’m sorry, please do not be angry. I love you so much, more than you can imagine. I’m sorry… and happy 6thmonthsary..’
but you ignored his sms. you didn’t even say anything to him.
so, that day, you stayed at home and watched TV all day. at around 5.30PM, YooChun was on TV together with JaeJoong doing an interview in TV station. While you were watching him, you didn’t even realise that your eyes were teary again. You started to think again that he’s being mean to you. He didn’t want to spare even a little time for you. It hurts your heart so much.
Time hits 6.30PM when the live broadcast finally ended. Then, you began to think, if the show ended at 6.30PM, why would he not want to come to your house? Suspense started to fill your heart.
when clock hits 8PM, your phone vibrated and it was JaeJoong calling.
“hello? sorry to disturb the two of you~ may I speak to YooChun for a while? he left his phone here!!” JaeJoong asked playfully on the phone.
“huh? what’re you talking about? I thought YooChun is with you?”
“what? no? once we finished ouor schedule, he quickly rushed to your house, he told me he wanted to do a surprise for you. he left since 1 hour ago. he’s not there yet?” Jaejoong questioned me.
slowly, fear crawling into my heart. thoughts like ‘where is yoochun?’ ‘is he okay?’ ‘why had he not arrived in my house when the distance from the station to my house is really near?’ ‘did something happen to him?’ were running wild in my mind.
“JaeJoong oppa! have you tired calling Junsu oppa, changmin oppa or yunho oppa? maybe they’re with one of them?” I asked panickedly.
“no~ 4 of us are together now.” then you could hear noises from the other 4.
suddenly, the news on the TV attracted your attention, it said ‘at 7.15PM, there’s a car accident on the highway towards the xxxxxxROAD. one person named Park YooChun is in the ferarri which is red in colour. Family members please come to the nearest hospital right now. ‘
your knees went soft like jelly. and then in a second you’re already in your car, racing to that hospital. after getting information from the nurse in front, you ran towards YooChun’s room.
When you reached there, it felt like the whole world just collapsed as you see YooChun laying down on the bed, looking very weak with bandage all over his head.
“Oppa.. what happened to you? oh? what happened?” you cried your heart out beside him. “Oppa I’m sorry.. Oppa.. are you in pain now? Oppa.. really.. I’m really sorry..” you cried so hard, your tears were uncontrollable.
“hey, I’m fine. at least you’re here now, I’m feeling better already. I wanted to give you a surprise as today is our 6thmonthsary and 1st valentine together, but then I was too excited to surprise you that I didn’t see the road clearly.” YooChun said in a very soft and low voice.
“stupid.. you shouldn’t have done that. oppa…. I… I..”
then yoochun put his finger in front of your lips,
“come here, come closer..” he whispered again.
then he hold your face in his palms and kiss your forehead..
“Happy 6thmonthsary and valentine’s day, love. I love you.. and I promise I’ll be a better boyfriend for you. please don’t cry anymore, don’t feel sorry too..okay? love? I’ll be fine in time..” He said again. his eyes sparkled, YooChun was about to cry too.
“Oppa… I love you. I love you. I love you. I promise I’ll be more understanding too. please get well soon, okay? I love you YooChun ah..” You said that to him while hugging him tight.
That day, you learnt how to be more understanding to YooChun, that day you also learnt how much yooChun meant to you, how much you can’t bear to see him suffer. :)
