Jacob was responsible for researching the vocabulary and dialect found in Tess of the D’Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy. However, he did more than just gathering specific and in depth information on Hardy’s diction in the novel. He also wrote a rap that perfectly summarizes the plot of the novel.
