I experienced my first "Crayon Box" tour this morning for Growing Futures head start program. One of the things that stuck out to me the most, is that 180 children (who qualify) are on the waiting list.. because of the lack of resources to take them. We got to visit classrooms and hear about all the work they are doing... as well as the help they need.
