Setup two comparable Lighting systems; the 600W HPS (640W, 805 umols PPFD) and the 400 (430W, 840umols PPFD) in a 120cm x 120cm tent (4x4). We place a thermometer inside and outside the tent and record the temp rises with the tent sealed. We also show you the thermalimage comparisons between the two tests. The results show 50% higher temp rise for the HPS over the LED. You can also see the heating effect of the light from the HPS on the tent walls.
