(( Yeah fuck it. I'm breeding myself Growlithe. Fletchling will have to wait a little bit more. Growlithe and Arcanine are absolute legends in my opinion. I love them both to bits, and when I was young, I actually wanted to be friends with one in reality. Like, as well as a pet companion, but an actual best friend at that. Sappy Luke is being sappy. I'm so sorry.
And plus, it's actually canon that Lance has an Arcanine himself! ))
