Grown-up children have their own mindset. Accordingly, they want to do things in their lives. Whereas parents act as protective bears to their cubs and don’t approve of their child's decisions most times. 

This results in disagreements and children not listening to their parents. How should parents deal with such situations then?

The environment at work looks more like a group of people hanging out, then taking breaks to work. Versus a group of people working, taking breaks to hang out. Where is the work ethic and accountability? I appreciate the lack of micromanaging, but it's kinda weird.
