*helps lift stage box* Guy on other end: “well hello, that’s impressive” *tries to help lift prop arm chair* Guy: “don’t worry I’ll get Bob to help me” *tries to speak* *gets spoken over* *tries to make helpful comment* *ignored* *someone else says same comment* *is listened to* When you just want to know if you’re the actual issue, or if other people are just as oblivious as they act.
If you can hear me, try to understand. I'm trying just as hard as you.

Why is it that on OUAT, if you’re a good character paired with a villain on the reform, once it’s time for them to redeem, you as the good character lose all your unique characteristics and everything that makes you an individual (or most of what makes you an individual) so that you can be whatever your reforming partner needs to be a better person? Seriously, that’s why I think Robin got killed, why Belle never goes beyond quoting the party line, and while I know CS people will disagree with me on this, especially in this last season, it just seems like Emma’s kind of lost her sense of self too. Her sense of individuality. There’s wanting to be loved by someone, and then there’s not having any meaningful contact with anyone unless it’s about your partner. It’s just so damn frustrating to me. Sigh.
