GRRL PAL - Dare + Night
It's actually been a minute since we posted consistent music from Australia, a country that not so long ago dominated the pages of this blog. Hopefully 2015 will change that and with artists like GRRL PAL, it shouldn't be too much of a stretch. This duo is the combined talents of Perth natives Jay Lekat & Danny K who are releasing one song a month for the next year. If that sounds familiar, its because London's Oh Wonder is following the same plan. However, any further comparison between the two groups end there, as listening to GRRL PAL's latest two singles, 'Dare' and 'Night', will demonstrate their unique style of half glitchy, half synthy electro pop that is 100% hard to turn off.
GRRL Pal - Radar
We introduced you guys to GRRL Pal back in February through a double feature of their brand of upbeat synth pop with 'Dare' and ' NGHT'. If you recall, the Perth duo comprised of Jay Lekat & Danny K are releasing 1 song every month for an entire year. 'Radar', their April release, is a real treat, tapping into some serious 80's nostalgia with a fast pace, dreamy vibe about a girl crushing on a guy and enticing him into liking her.
