Me

Doing a little me maintenance today. Kinda overdue really. I went shopping for some sandals, the real challenge there is trying to find something my cat won't eat. Yes you read that right. I bought some nice sandals, work worthy, and she chewed the edges so bad I was ashamed to wear them to the dollar store for bread, forget work. So then I got cheap ones, she chewed them up too. It only takes one time forgetting to put them out of her reach and she pounces. It's always my shoes, we have some flip flops someone left at our house I tried to distract her with-nope, not interested. *sigh* So now I'm enjoying one of my few true complete pampering indulgences. A pedicure. I feel almost guilty how much I love these. And *shhh* it's not even the weekend.

I am so antisocial. I have company. Someone I love. And her son and boyfriend. But, I kinda wish they would just leave cause they are upsetting my cat. My cat has such bad stuff in her past and she can't stand rowdy people or strangers (even more than me) and she was so stressed tonight she came into my bedroom and puked then got up on the bed and peed on my leg. I really can't even blame her, the kid yelling has me almost stressed enough to piss the bed too :( But I still have to strip the bed, remake it, and wash the pissy bedclothes plus my pissy pajama pants. And I'm already way too tired too fuck with that *sigh* Oh well. I love my cat and I really need some human friends so I'll just have another shot of vodka and pretend like it's no biggie.

Social media whine

Ugh, nothing says stuck up like ignoring a Facebook friends request. Do what I do, accept it, put them on the acquaintances list, and ignore them if you don’t want to interact with them. I have a bunch of people on there that never see anything I do and I never see their crap but nobody gets slighted.

And yes I had a request ignored that ticked me off :p And I just realized that if your request is ignored the entry disappears from your activity log. I guess that’s a bit kinder than being told it was ignored, but I was doubting if I had sent the request at all. I don’t think it should be removed from your activity log, after all, you did do it. Man up Facebook and tell us when we get rejected. Or don’t you want to deal with all the drama when that happens? Afraid of some high school level drama :p
