I agree with everything said here holy shit

I'll only say that a closeted pre-everything trans guy may find themselves fantasizing about situations in which their newfound male privilege affords them an easier existence, but in no way does that mean that they actually have it

and, to be honest, EVERYONE has those "it would all be easier if I had male privilege was a guy" fantasies because guys are so commonly portrayed as smart, successful, sexually dominant individuals and society has groomed us to think that that is the existential ideal

Like trans guys who pass get male privilege and there is something to be said for having your gender be idolized by the media But guys with uteruses certainly aren't exsempt from abortion bans.

Hey so do you ever get the impression that it seems like a lot of people on tumblr are still more biased towards feminine DFAB people and how masculine DFAB people tend to be forgotten or considered less needing of attention and discussion in social justice communities that aren't like the TERFs or truscum?

I think it's something to do with the misconception that people who are mistaken for, willingly dress, and/or thought to behave like society's concept of "men" somehow benefit from male privilege and/or the gender binary and are therefore unworthy/unneeding of help and support

if someone does not identify as isn't a man, then it's literally impossible for them to have male privilege

Also not that this is related to that specific anon but I feel like this is a good bit of advice for a lot of your followers: If you're really overwhelmed in school, like you know you're behind in a lot of things and you're trying to catch-up but you can't even figure out what you need to do, just go up to each one of your teachers after class and ask them what exactly you need to do. They'll often give you some advice on where to start, and having a list of what exactly needs to be done helps.
