Just me'n ma #cakes Finalists from my self guided #birthdaycake tour to @ninecakes @brooklynbaker @ovenly #charlottepatisserie @milkbarstore @sugar_couture Betsy from NineCakes made my day when she responded to my impromptu drop by giving me a free mini wedding cake. All these cakes were very tasty. The black stout cake from Ovenly(not featured...) is something I'll need to copy one day. Penny from @sugar_couture took the cake...ahem for moistest, tastiest cake...incredibly moist nutmeggified deliciousness. She also wins for the friendliest baker for answering all of my baking questions, like how to get perfect edges around a cake and how long it takes to make an acceptable professional fondant cake( 12 years apparently!).
