When you're aromantic you tend to be paranoid that anything is a date. It's not that simple. I have been consistently blamed for leading people on while thinking I was just being friendly and hanging out with them. It has made some people very angry. I would much rather clear it up before I agree to "hang" with him. I just wish I didn't have to. Ugh, romantic things are just such a bother to me.
