I never want to feed into the troll wars so I don’t normally like to namedrop people who I deal with, but yesterday was an exception. I draw the line when people get too involved you know? I’m trying to block them as they come along and I’ve blocked IP addresses too. I try hard to stay in my lane and I don’t have any issues with people being fans of Jared but the way these people act is way too much. I’m talking about trying to doxx people, using slurs, and wishing violence on people all because someone doesn’t worship Jared and shun Jensen, Misha, Danneel, anyone else on the planet. 

I will keep this in mind though and remember that I can always come to you guys with all of this. <3 You’re amazing and I want to hug you all and smush your cheeks.

   I know what you mean. I posted a piece last night and it’s gotten 9 views and one anonymous kudos. Not encouraging. However, I think you should still write and keep it public. You never know who is reading, even if it feels like writing to the void.

Kudos... the most horrible invention on fic archive sites? I mean does it really make anyone happy? “Oh look, my story has 1, 10, 1000 kudos and not a single person cared to leave even the shortest comment?”? Sorry, I’m just really grumpy at the moment. I really don’t know what we authors have to do to make the importance of any lil feedback visible to the readers. And my fandom is just so very dead rn, it’s not only my stories. It’s all of them. But you see clicks and hits and see that people read and even hear of some openly say “yeah I always read your stuff” - yeah so why you never tell me??? I’m just - I’ve been really down about this the last two weeks and the last days especially much. 

It’s like, really, I get it that people have lives. But authors do, too. And still they write. And sometimes, said lives are really hard and authors would really need any kind of positive feedback and confirmation and guess what. I should shut up, I’m just pmsing.

Don’t you dare, :D  Well I’ m really really tempted. It is extremely unmotivating and saddening rn. Well, you know what I’m talking about. But at the moment I do ask myself: what do I even post for?

@jacklesthings​ I saw one of them saying I was jealous because “my fave hasn’t been on screen in a year”. Kinda funny because a few of my faves have been doing a lot in the past year.  Also I got told that I’m probably just mad that J2M are friends? Not sure how I’ve ever given that vibe? 

Even when I first started here, I never agreed with their hatred towards everyone who isn’t Jared. I also never agreed with the constant attacks on personal appearances of people they didn’t like because that’s so juvenile.

@aitsu4ever The issue was that I’m “not a Christian” because I point out flaws in celebrities. They even used the old plank in the eye quote! I’ve found that when people have to resort to bashing my faith or claiming that I’m not a Christian, that means that they don’t have a valid argument. Whenever people resort to saying “You’re not a real Christian!”, I kinda tune them out. I’m just tired of people doing that, you know? 

@raina16​ I’m not ashamed of my faith so I’m not shy in mentioning it, but I’m not trying to impose anything on anyone. I think in the post I made tonight that was probably the closest I’ve come to “imposing my beliefs”. 

I try not to take it personally, but it gets old really quickly. Thank you both for being supportive! <3

aitsu4ever The thing about her is that wasn't she also all over Bradley Cooper when they did whatever film it was together? I don't think BC was married, but he had a girlfriend yes? I get people do that for buzz, but I remember there was flirting going on performing on the Oscars stage while the girlfriend was sitting down there. It's just weird and awkward.

I’m trying to be better at replying to things in my notes lol. But yes! She did the same exact thing with Bradley Cooper! Like okay, you wanna promote the movie, but some of the pictures of her and Adam she was pulling his hands onto her, pressing up against him, and all while he wife was there (I think she was there for all of the premieres, but it might have just been one). Even if she wasn’t in attendance, that’s still disrespectful. She clearly has a pattern too. 

And before everyone comes at me saying Adam is just as guilty, yes and no. Adam is an adult and can object to things, but he’s also not comfortable on red carpets so why would he be comfortable objecting to his costar?

Okay if you’re going to be petty then I’m going to be petty too! I used to like him a lot, met him at a con (photo op so it wasn’t a long meeting), and loved Daryl. As time went on and as I wasn’t as deep in the fandom, I started getting a bit annoyed. Even before I stopped watching TWD I got annoyed. 

My biggest annoyance was that so many people tried to make TWD the Daryl Dixon show, and when Rick left he became the “leader” and I just....no thanks. I know that Daryl fangirls are rabid and will move mountains for Norman but it really soured TWD for me. One, there was no shock value or tension when it came to Daryl being in trouble on the show because everyone knows they wouldn’t kill him off. So even when he was in tight situations, it wasn’t as tense because he was the only character that was immune to the “no one is safe” rule.  Daryl ABSOLUTELY got Glenn killed and I won’t let anyone tell me otherwise.

Outside of the show though, Norman seems to act like Jared in the sense that he seems to crave attention. At cons he’d goof off when people were talking to try and get the spotlight back on him like a child trying to annoy their parent on the phone.  I wouldn’t be surprised at all if his friendship with JDM was more of a PR thing. Not saying that they don’t hangout outside of work because I know they’ve been spotted hanging out when they’re not filming but it seems to be pushed a lot. 

I guess it’s kind of just a bummer because he used to be one of my favorites and I think because of the way AMC has pushed him so far to the front without any regard for anyone else and the way that he doesn’t seem to speak up about certain things if they might dampen his spotlight, I just am kind of resentful in a way?

@samara2021 - Hey, we’ve all been one of those fans before, refusing to believe and admit that our fave show is a dumpster fire! Hahaha.

@spn-ish​ - I wouldn’t be surprised at either option. When I see their posts, there aren’t many comments at all to begin with. It’s very probable that they delete negative comments because we know Jared and Gen do that too, and we gotta keep the charade of this show being good. It also could just be that people don’t care anymore and have lost interest. Either way, it looks sad.

@samara2021 Jared is absolutely just as guilty with this Pro-Gen campaign. He’s the one who got her involved, he’s the one funding the blank website, he’s the one that refuses to do any publicity with any of the ACTUAL stars of the show because it might ruin the ~couple goals~ tour they’re on. 

He’s not a child, he’s a grown man who knows exactly what he’s doing.
