Not fanfic, but: the end of the ball scene, where you-know-what happens to Ithel and Kiki gets kicked in the feels; guests in Kiki's tower; Kiki visiting Ithel for the first time. Fanfic: Yuki being *serious* for once; Sora getting all mushy thinking about Adaryc and that sword he gave her.
What do you mean by “Yuki being serious”, when did THAT happen, she has no recollection of anything like that!
Ah, and I know you enjoy watching Kiki getting her feels kicked, I’m sure there will be more occasions for you to rejoice :>
Slow burn: AlothSo, if I personally had to pick one of these three to slow burn, it’d be Aloth, but it would probably be a very, very slow friends-to-lovers, “we don’t want to ruin our nerdy friendship by confessing” situation. Also me being worried that confessing to him would be problematic because of the abuse he’s been through in his life and not wanting to take advantage of that.
Fake date: FassinaI would never have the confidence to ask Fassina out but I could see a situation where she needed to throw off that asshole ex by pretending to be with me and it accidentally turns into an epic love story.
Enemies-to-lovers: SerafenReal-life me is very, very lawful neutral (sometimes LG but hopefully not lawful stupid lol) so chaotic-neutral, pirate, free-spirited Serafen and I would probably not get along despite our best efforts at first. Maybe we’d figure it out eventually. There would probably be an acquaintances-with-benefits stage. Lmao.
🤐 🦊 and 🥺 — Who’s the strongest character emotionally?
🤐— Who’s the quietest character? Xipil, no doubt about it. I’m still rather proud of the factthat his speaking lines in Clan & Court – all six chapters – consisted ofone word. XD Soul & Shield has him talking a *little* more freely – but nomore than he absolutely has to.
🦊— Which character is the most clever? Gotta be Lottie! Picked up how to read when she was, like, three, from paying attention when parents and siblings read to her, and she hasnot really slowed down since.
🥺 — Who’s the strongest character emotionally? I think it’s probably Vi. She tends toshoulder everyone else’s emotions on top of her own so she’s accustomed tobearing a lot, and her background in philosophy helps her to work through thereally difficult emotions. Also, epic resolve stats.
First giveaway prize, for @grumpy-jedi. She asked for Thaos from Pillars of Eternity, a younger version of him though. Since it is some earlier pre-game representation of him I freestyled on his design a bit :]
The 'get to know...' thing: 11, 12, 25, 39, 45, 49 for the witchie; 8, 29, 31, 40, 47, 48 for the antagonist; 3, 15, 42, 44, 46 for your Watcher; 2, 7, 24, 43, 50 for Silly-face.
The witchie and the antagonist still need some work, so:
Kirara:
11. What is something that would make your character fly into a rage?
Being used for someone else’s goals. Her friends being hurt. Her mentor being kept in a dungeon *blows kisses at Ithel*
12. Is there some particular talent, skill, or attribute that they simply could not give up?
Well, she firmly believes she has acting skills, but it would make no difference if she gave them up :P She would never give up her magic, though. That’s what defines her and that’s what her mentor taught her. And, well, that’s what she’s actually good at.
25. Is there something traumatic from your character’s past that greatly affects them even to this day?
Her mother left her in an orphanage right after she was born and it kind of makes her feel unwanted. And much later her mentor took off and went adventuring and didn’t take her along, so it made her even more unwanted.
45. Is your character the kind to hide their true emotions or do they wear their heart on their sleeve?
She tries her best to hide anger or fear, but when she bottles them up, they sometimes just… blow up.
49. What is something that your character has nightmares about? Are these frequent? Do they heavily affect your character’s mood?
Ever since she touched Ithel’s magic staff and heard it scream, those screams have been occasionally coming back in her dreams. Some visions of the past have come along too. It’s not going to end well.
Ithel:
08. What is, perhaps, their biggest flaw? Are they aware of this or oblivious to it?
He insists he means well, but he keeps dangerous people at his side nonetheless and they sure don’t mean well. For now he lets it pass, because “the end justifies the means” and “revolution is never peaceful”, but he’s getting close to losing his patience. By then it may be too late, though.
29. What is one of the most courageous things your character has ever done for a loved one?
If by “a loved one” you mean his late mentor, then, well, he did his best to make her proud. Which means he tried to break the curse that had made him and the other Chosen Ones (they need a better name) what they are. He’s still trying. If you mean… someone else, then… The most courageous thing would be give up his revolution. Not sure if he’s ready for that just yet.
31. Would your character be the kind capable of killing? Would they enjoy killing or only use it when necessary or, perhaps, refuse to kill no matter what?
He’s definitely capable of killing, either when it’s necessary or when he’s really pissed off. He doesn’t really enjoy it much, though.
40. Does your OC have any guilty pleasures they enjoy? Hobbies, past times, music, etc that they wouldn’t want known by others?
Parties, festivities and all the occasions when he can unleash his inner dork. However, he believes that 1) he’s too old for fooling around (and when he was younger, he was either studying magic or being captured and tortured and didn’t have much time for fun, ok); 2) he has important things to do and no time for fooling around; 3) he’s a dark and powerful warlock, dammit! Seriously, appearing more human in front of his own people wouldn’t do him any harm…
47. Is your character outgoing? Would they be the leader of the friend group, or the quiet one that gets dragged along?
He is. And he would totally hold all the parties.
48. Is there anything in particular that would ignite your character’s jealousy? Or does your character not get envious?
He literally started his revolution out of envy I mean, nope, not at all.
That entire Ianthe ficlet (especially the ending) which technically is one scene and it slays me every time ;_; That moment in Clan and Court when Vi casts Iconic Projection. In Soul and Shield - Lottie and Anselm finding the tower; memories from Glynis' and Ianthe's lifetime and Violet hearing her past incarnation's name for the first time.
