As Follows...:   Are you a leader or a follower?

"Neither," Masquerade was blunt, "Don't give a damn if anybody follows me, but if I think a leader's decision is wrong, then I'm gonna handle it my own way."

Could Be Worse:   what's a situation you've been in where you thought "it can't possibly get worse than this" ... And then it did?

"My ancestors probably thought the English invading their home couldn't have got worse and then they got slaughtered," Masquerade vaguely answered the question, "I've been through the same thing, only it was someone from my own race that did it."

"Compliment?" Masquerade asked, his nose crinkling in confusion, "...Compliment... I guess that if anyone called me inspiring I'd probably drop dead on the spot right there."

He rubbed the tattoo below his right eye before continuing,  "Don't really care what people think of my looks or personality or any of that. I just want people to tell me that I'm doing the right thing."

19:   Favorite type of weather?

"It's usually sunny down in Vegas so that gets kinda boring," Masquerade chuckled, "I mostly prefer rain and thunderstorms. Although, I don't get out of it much 'cause living in a clock tower? That's damn high up; I ain't getting electocuted."

I dunno. Like, some days I'm fine with he, sometimes I'm more fine with she. But I think that they is an actual comfortable medium. I might need to ponder if I want just they for now.
