I love America. I mean sure, there are still some pretty fucked up things about America but can you name a place that’s not fucked up?
Just the small things about America are so amazing to me. The way our country was born by standing up to tyranny. The way that we have our presidents faces carved into stone. The way the entire country grieves once a year for something that only impacted a few states. The way we are so proud of ourselves and we aren’t ashamed of it. The way there are so many people putting their lives on the line for us. The way we celebrate our independence by lighting up the sky in red white and blue.
It’s just so beautiful to me.
