1) ray!!!!!  @totheband we first met on nemo and honestly, that was a life changing day.  ray’s also one of the very first people i have ever written with, like..... ever.  like nemo is and forever will be rapunzel’s brother.  and ray, you are... such sunshine!!!  a literal ray of sunshine *ba dum tsss*  and the love you have for dewey ( and every other one of your characters ) is so intense and ilusm, i honestly cannot imagine my dash without you on it.

2) this next one’s going out to @grvmpygills aka nym!!!!  i love how in depth you get with marlin - all his quirks and the things that make him tick, and tbqh i love the human backstory you have for him and also how he and coral met.  but i also love how much rapunzel loves marlin, because he really is like rapunzel’s second dad and the mutual love they have for each other is just so touching.  and you, you are such a delight i absolutely love talking with you and you just...  have such an amazing grasp on marlin and i get so so happy whenever i see you on the dash!!

3) okay, so @captainjacksparrovv is next.  because meg is truly a gem, and i love how much she loves ( captain ) jack!!!  and also, i love how he’s become such a big part of rapunzel’s life, so much so that she considers him to be her big brother; meg, you just have this eye for art in literally everything you do, whether it’s in your writing or your other projects, you put your heart into it.  and as a person, you’re such a delight!!!  and i miss u pls come back <3

4) this one’s a shoutout for two special people ( and yes, they get the same bullet point because they’re magnificent ): @wxlkes & @aquamanandfriends !!!!  because they’re also OG rp fam, and i know it’s been a while since we’ve written together, but every time i see you guys on the dash i get so so so happy and i think back to benny and sandy and all of holly’s manips of our ships out on double dates, and how they’re such a huge part of each other’s lives and there is nothing i would change about it!!!   you guys are forever the sweetest and i really really luv you guys

Out of genuine curiosity, what made you decide to go with a turned human!AU as opposed to a more traditional human!AU? It seems pretty unique to me!

xxxi. What is your muse’s first memory?

the earliest thing Rikki could remember was the time when she moved from a trailer in Newcastle to a small one-story house in Sydney. the move itself is what she remembered. she was seven. her parents were fighting about the move, where to live, financial problems, etc. and they were so caught up in the move that they actually forgot about Rikki’s birthday. she remembers boxes being everywhere and she couldn’t find any of her belongings because they were packed up. her parents argued in the kitchen before they loaded the truck up. her mother actually left and went off somewhere and didn’t return later in the evening, pushing the move off another day. 

the move ultimately resulted in Rikki having a particularly bad year in school and the move pushed Martina into leaving Rikki and Terry a year later on Rikki’s eighth birthday. perhaps Rikki only remembers the move because she remembers her mother leaving after it. 

not the most pleasant of memories oops.

     she could tell something was off about marlin recently. she wasn’t the best with words, so she figured a simple gesture would do for now. she turned to grab her own mug back in the kitchen when he suddenly pleaded for her to come back. she dismissed his worry and gave a short laugh, though not at his expense.

     “of course, silly, i’m getting my drink too. not an octopus here, only got two hands. i’ll be right back, promise,” she stated, giving him a small pat on the shoulder passing by before exiting the room.
