What's that song? || && -- Jongdae and Miri
— @grychen ;
It was her free period, time to simply work on some homework she had put off for far too long now and head to her favorite place in the castle; The library. Books in hand, parchment and ink along with her favorite quill, the female anticipated the silence she would endure in the library. It was soothing, made for the best place to relax and get away during the week.
The young witch strolled down the corridors until she reached the rather large library that held thousands upon thousands of books to help her when she needed it — The homework she had put off was none other than Study of Ancient Runes, and of course it wasn’t her beset subject. The thought simply made the female roll her eyes at herself, a soft sigh creeping past her painted lips as she found a table to sit down with all her books and actually get stuff done for once. She sorted things out, placed the books she knew she needed above the parchment paper she was going to write on — While the ink and quill sat separately to the side.
Miri rubbed her hands together, knowing now she was ready for this hardcore study session to begin before immediately stopping. Her gaze lifted from the books she had laid out perfectly to a boy; A Gryffindor student who had something in his ears. She squinted her eyes, the bridge of her nose scrunching up as she finally came to the conclusion that he had very small earbuds placed in his ear, one hanging off his shoulder allowing whatever he had playing to be heard by others — Music. The song playing sounded so upbeat, and catchy. She had become so secluded from the muggle world that she had such a hard time keeping up with the music nowadays — Of course she would hear things that she liked, but she could never remember who it was sung by, or better yet the name of the songs themselves.
She tried to not make it so obvious that she was trying to listen to what he was playing, wandering around and acting as if she was studying the books on the shelves closest to him – Her fingers trailing along the spines of the books before finally giving in and allowing her curiosity to win. The female inched closer, lightly tapping his shoulder she flashed a rather small smile in his direction, “what’s that song you’re listening to?” She saw this boy in the library often — Only ever speaking to him a handful of times because she never wanted to bother him. But today was different, he was alone and of course her curiosity always prevailed.
