Fubuki Shirou & Atsuya — If, just like Ares-verse, Shirou was 1 year older
Being a year younger than Shirou came with a lot of frustrations for Atsuya. For example, Shirou got to go to Hogwarts a year earlier than him meant a year alone at home with his parents (the longest he’d spent away from his brother between the trips home on Christmas and Easter holidays). From getting the first letter to buying his first wand, Atsuya would enviously watch his brother with excitement as he’d pack his trunk with all of his new belongings.
Even when he was able to finally old enough to attend Hogwarts for the first time, there were still a lot of things he couldn’t do that Shirou could do because he was only a first year.
For example, there was the frustration of not being able to even tryout for the Gryffindor quidditch team because he was only a first year and as there was already too many current students on the team, no exceptions could be made for him. Thus, he had to watch his brother receive his very own broomstick (first years were not allowed to own one at school) and had to sit in stands while he watched his brother play in school qudditch matches.
Being a complete sweet tooth, he was also very jealous that Shirou got to go to Hogsmeade and Honeydukes when he was in his 3rd year and Atsuya was still in his 2nd. However, Shirou being the kind and thoughtful brother he was, would always bring back him sweets (his favourite being Sugar Quills). Atsuya would always tell him “You didn’t have to Aniki” and act like he didn’t care much, but to him, it really did mean so much
