If those like 𝙲𝚑𝚒𝚎𝚏 𝙶𝚢𝚛𝚏𝚊𝚕𝚌𝚘𝚗 can be referred to as "married to the job," then 𝙾𝚜𝚙𝚛𝚎𝚢 is married to the hunt. It's strange to say that she feels at peace in The Hinterlands but it's the only place she knows with one hundred percent certainty who she is. Gives her clarity unlike in her personal bardo filled to the brim with all the things the person she was Before must have loved—but mean next to nothing to her. Remnants of a life that doesn't feel like it was ever her own and nevertheless stick to the marrow of her hollow bones.
