"By UC 0088, 02.23 the AEUG destroyed one of the Titan's main fleet during the three-way battle of Gryps 2. In spite of the victory the AEUG suffered the loss of nearly half it's combat power. Although they had been considered rebels, however they mostly compromised of members of the Earth Federation Military. In fact, the final battle of Gryps Conflict turned out to ensure a mutually assured destruction for the Federation

With only a few ships like the Argama cruiser were left, the AEUG's main military forces had been nearly destroyed. An even more serious problem was that practically all of their pilots had been killed as well--thus greatly weakening their overall force. As a result, the AEUG were no longer able to retain Earth Federation forces in any organized capacity."
