I'm so happy. I'm happy not because of what happened to me, but because of what happened to the people around me. All my friends who applied to their school of choice got in, I'm sincerely happy for each and everyone of them. I'm really glad that not only me, but the people who surround me are happy.
:)
My friend: I can speak some French.
Me: Me too
Me: Bon bon baguette, Napoleon, escargo, croissant
Girl who lives on our hall: *Opens door* Is someone foreign on our hall?
My favourite quote (which I put into my article) was Brian Sims (Penn House Rep) who said, "My mother calls us the ABS community. All But Straight."
Gay Pride Iceland 2012...
I am not 100% sure whether I'm going any more. I'm skint. I'm exhausted. I'm wanted to two birthday-events at home. BUT....
IT'S MOTHERFUCKING GAY PRIDE! AND I WANT TO GO!
One of my oldest and bested friends in the world is participating in the drag contest. The gay cruise, I want to go to it again, it's.... something amazing. (Last year was the first time someone made a pass at me as a bloke, and it was on the cruise, and I want to go again.) The march itself, it's... more fun that you can imagine unless you've been to one yourself! And... well... My little country-mouse group is going! I wanna go with 'em!
There's just one thing I got to mention....
Do you know what this is? This is the Gay Pride "Song" for Gay Pride Iceland 2012....
....
Now, is it just me, or is this rather... bad?
(This is a question you don't have to answer, I guess, as I've already seen people all over the internet cringe in reaction to this.... mess.)
Honestly, if this, as the "official" song of the "festival" that Gay Pride has become in Iceland, will be played everywhere and a "lot" while the festival is running, I'm not really sure I want to expose myself to that.... Maybe I can bring my mp3 player and play it loud enough not to hear anything else.
