As those of you who follow the GenConstuck blog already know, the 2017 Homestuck photoshoot is going to be an unofficial event.
What many of you may not know is that immediately following the shoot, Karkat Vantas and Roxy Lalonde will - for the first time in the history of Paradox Space - bring forth an ancient and unspeakably evil tome said to contain horrors beyond the comprehension of mortal minds; a tome known, in some elite circles of whispering warlocks and other students of the zooologically dubious, as The Fanorous Fictionomicon. Dramatic readings, hilarity, calamity, MSTing, and excessive consumption of Faygo shall ensue. Audience commentary is allowed and encouraged. No signup is necessary; just show up to the shoot, and you can join us afterwards for a few hours of fun, laughter, and Karkat screeching in abject fury at an inanimate object. This event will not conflict with the cosplay parade or cosplay contest in any way; we are working to be absolutely certain this is the case.
Please note that the closest this event will come to actual grimdarkness is a pair of Warhammer 40,000 fics; barring any manner of direct intervention on the part of some incredibly capricious elder god, no Lalondes (or Vantases, for that matter) will be descending into the fabled blackdeath trance of the woegothics.
