I don’t think so. Maybe George/Shannon because fans helped me realize George is a cuck bastard.

Not sure what to say. People are usually pretty affirming about what I make of the story. It’s been awesome that people on tumblr don’t disrespect my opinions abt LGBTQ characters and rep.

Ok so you foolishly said I could ask as many requests as I need. So here goes! I'd love to see "prostitute and client" and I'd really like that for Cana and Freed!

You have to know I can’t take the obvious route on this one. But I’ll play it straighter than I did last time I got this prompt.

“Are you certain you can afford me?”

The question was deceptively mild, delivered with a fine arch of the brow and a quirk to thinly glossed lips. Afford certainly was the question hanging in the air, even if it hadn’t been spoken aloud, given the decadent surroundings filled with carefully chosen and placed ambivalence spoiled only by one thing.

The intruder was hardly dressed for a visit. Far too many items of clothing, for one. The weapons, while hot, were clearly used, and not for pleasurable things.

“I made it up here.”

A chuckle greeted that statement, dipping into a category of raw and dangerous, rather than amused. There was an edge of pleasure too, barely there. But it was carefully hidden back beneath the facade before being mistaken for weakness. Elements of the business were risky, and one didn’t reach the top by being a guileless fool for a bit of spunk and a deliciously toned body.

“So you did. Yet, that was not the answer to my question.”

Curiosity flickered, a bit of warmth in an otherwise cold existence. This arrangement, it was relatively new, a sort of idle gamble for the bored and world-weary.

“Well, I heard, to get a wish granted, y’gotta be fucked senseless.” Her laugh was throaty, full of confidence, fearless as the look she shot him with dark eyes. The same look she probably delivered before killing his guard for access to the tower and the privilege of making his time more enjoyable. If foolish, futile thoughts of killing him were rolling through that beautiful little head, he was eager to see how they manifested into action.

She wouldn’t be the first to take his invitation up as assassination in the sheets, and certainly not the last. 

“Crass.”

“True,” she shrugged, dark curls spilling over her shoulders artlessly as the beat up leather jacket slid off to the floor behind her. The movement was less refined that he was used to, lacking a distinct grace others held, but there was a feline grace to the movement that held promise. Dark red lips, smoky eyes, lace and straps; she’d truly come prepared, although he was certain if she’d put this much effort and research in, she’d know his romantic type was a far cry from what she presented.

She’d certainly taken the job requirement to heart.

His eyes traced what was underneath with hooded approval, silently tracing a fang tip in anticipation with the tip of his tongue.

Freed hoped she would follow through with as much dedication as she’d shown thus far. 

When he said nothing, she hooked a slim finger beneath a strap tauntingly and took a challenging step forward, “Nervous I’ll slip you a little bit of stake? Or are you into a bit of pain with your pleasure?”

This one, she showed promise. He might grant her wish, or perhaps he’d just allow to her keep her life.

I don't know if I asked you this buuuut what's the best thing that's happened to you this year? :)

AHH The best thing that happened to me this year? Probably separating from a toxic living situation and moving to Idaho! I’ve learned so much since I moved and while I do miss some things (and by some things I mean one person @theunfocusedredmage ) I am overall happy with the decision I made! :D

Another great thing that happened to me was @sanguine-fairy getting a kitten. Because while this kitten is a pain in the ASS a good portion of the time, she’s a really great sweetheart <3

What's the best thing that's happened to you this year? :)

Probably getting my degree. This has been something I’ve been working towards for as long as I can remember. That symbol of achievement and knowledge was a mythical thing always “just a few years of hard work away”, but now it’s real...it’s something I can hold and show and say I really did it. lol I got back my degree all framed and pretty today so I might be a little sentimental. I met some wonderful people in college, and it really was a time to test what I could do. One of the other best things has been finding writing again and cultivating a community of friends here. Yall get me through some tough times and don’t even know it. When the world beats me down as I start my post grad life, the people here help lift me up. My fics give me a sense of relief amidst the stress, and having people enjoy my writing is so wonderful. I put down my pen when I started my degree, and now that I have it, I wonder what would have happened had I gone down the creative writing path. It’s nice to know that my inner torment I went through before I started college over literature vs. science wasn’t just some silly aspiration. I’ve wanted to be a lot of things in life: dolphin trainer, singer, actress, writer, circus performer, baker, and scientist to name a few. Some of those things seem like dreams and whimsy now, but the support I receive here reminds me that I am not just a smart kid in a lab coat. Should life blow my sails a different way, I really do have more to offer the world.
