Warriors up 1-0
Opening day of the Western Conference Finals between the San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors, and this game did not disappoint. The Spurs came out strong and lead the the entire game up until the fourth quarter. Spurs lead for as much as 25 points through the game until the 3rd quarter. ZaZa of the Warriors apparently "closed out" on Kwahi as he was shooting a 3 pointer. After the release and Kwahi came down, he landed on ZaZa's foot rolling his ankle. After further evaluation, Kwahi was ruled out for the rest of the game. Some say dirty play and some may not. It's no question this play turned the tables and fueled the Warriors come back as Kwahi was the leader in scoring and rebounding. After a few miscues for the Spurs and a couple big shots down the stretch for KD and Steph, Warriors had the lead. The game went to the final seconds, but The Warriors prevailed and won the game 113-111 in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals. This should be an entertaining series. Stay tuned.
