Tynes Consulting Services, LLC is a federally registered Women Owned Small Business providing an array of project management services to federal health agencies, medical societies and healthcare organizations. Principal owner and CEO Sheila Tynes has over 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Ms. Tynes has had the opportunity to work with passionate healthcare professionals in emergency medicine, perinatal care, gastroenterology, electrophysiology, cardiology (cardiovascular, angiography and intervention) and infectious diseases to name a few. She has extensive experience in guideline/clinical document development, quality improvement and patient safety. In 2015, Ms. Tynes launched Tynes Consulting Services, LLC. Her clients appreciate her calm nature, great interpersonal and communication skills; her ability to work well under pressure, her keen attention to detail and high organizational skills.
Position Summary
Tynes Consulting Services is looking for a project coordinators and project managers to provide high level administrative duties on various projects. This is a freelance part-time virtual position; flexible hours between 5-20 hours per week (hours will vary based on project requirements). Duties to include reviewing & formatting documents, fact checking, data base entry, creating surveys, recording meeting minutes and other administrative functions. Rate ranges from $20-40 per hour commensurate with experience. Candidate must possess excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills; be extremely detailed oriented, creative and resourceful, solution driven, graceful under pressure and able to take initiative. Candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in a professional environment & possess or currently working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.
Skills
• Proficient in MS Office
• Experience working with Endnote and other reference management software
• Experience working with PubMed; Able to perform literature searches a plus but not required
• Proficient in scheduling and survey software, Doodle and SurveyMonkey
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Able to communicate with individuals by telephone & e-mail
