ok so this is also a love letter to Murder Drones I’m locked in I promise
I have been around The Amazing Digital Circus since the beginning… I remember seeing the trailer come out, thinking it was dumb, and after the pilot released I waited 2 weeks until I actually watched it because it began to gain so much popularity lol. I still remember that lil pilot being at 25 million views 🥺
It was very exciting. From there, I did think it was dumb, but I kept rewatching and rewatching the pilot after release and fell in love with it all. I attended the live Glitchx 2023 where I was pretty confused the whole time cause I did not know any of Glitch’s other shows haha. But, because of The Amazing Digital Circus, I decided to watch Murder Drones, to where I watched until episode 3 and gave up because I was a confused 13 year old lmao
Episode 7 of Murder Drones was premiering a month before TADC episode 2, and I randomly joined the premiere (I had not seen episode 4-6) so I was so damn confused, but decided to give the show another chance.
So I watched all of Murder Drones, again and again and again. I fell in love.
I began to draw again. My drawings were very rusty but if there was one thing Murder Drones gave me, it was my creative spark. I kept drawing and drawing, then the show ended, and I was so so sad that I was so late to the Murder Drones party. But Tadc was still around. If I had never given that silly Circus show a chance, I wouldn’t have found Murder Drones, my favorite show of all time, the thing that gave me back my creativity in 2024.
Candy Carrier Chaos came out and I was able to watch the premiere with my sisters, which was so much fun. I didn’t know what I was getting in to.
I had been there for every single TADC premiere, besides episode 4 I think, watching the community grow and thrive, I was never into TADC enough that I would draw it constantly but I was still a very appreciative fan.
And that brings us to 2026. When I tell you I thought this show would never end, I meant it. I can’t believe it’s over. Time is moving so fast. My creativity grew up with this show, it has taught me so much. I can’t wait for the finale, because I lwk use to watch the show out of spite. I was pissed that Murder Drones was over, but over time I truly did fall in love. I know this show has so much potential in the finale and I think the ending will be amazing. I can’t wait to watch it with my sister and my friend.
I’ve never been on the awful and ungrateful side of the TADC community, I’m just here to have fun, so I don’t know what is deserved for the fans and what’s not, but I know this will be amazing, for all those who find gratitude in indie growing. Glitch truly has changed the game for artists who want to express themselves but have never had the opportunity. It’s very inspiring.
Thanks Glitch, this show allowed me to find my potential in drawing (by discovering Murder Drones through TADC), and gave me confidence to keep drawing and keep trying. Thank you thank you.
