Weekly Update 5/16/2021
My car battery decided to die on my last night. The time it died at work was just the start but luckily it is still under warranty. The only thing I need to do today is get gas so I can get to work. No trip to the museum until later in this week on my extra days off. Which will be to help with the temporary exhibit the museum is setting up for the summer. Which should bring a lot of people to the museum.
Stopped at the farmers market yesterday. There is a local store in the mall that carries homemade products. They have a healing balm that I am going to use on my feet and my ears when I stretch them out. Not sure how big I am going to go with my ears but if the balm works i may be able to get bigger holes then last time I tried. It will also depend on what type of job i get in the future will decide how big my ear holes get.
Found out that the store carries a home made foot scrub along with a few different types of lotion that I can use on my feet. Which once I get my current container used up I will be getting some. Especially looking forward to trying their foot scrub so that I can keep my feet in good shape. Speaking of my feet I will be getting a pedicure this week along with some grey nail polish. I would normally get black but I want to try something different.
Going to spend some time on my days off reading a witch book I picked up beginning of the year. I have found a few ways to use herbs to help protect and ward off things. Which means at some point I will need to make my garden bigger so I can accommodate some witch plants. May even make one or two containers my witch garden. Which can be used for many things.
Going to be getting some milkweed plants so I can attract monarch butterflies to my garden. I know I will not be able to have a big milkweed garden but I will have enough to help the monarchs out. Will also find some companion plants to but in the spot as well so that its can help out lots of the native bugs. The small step I can take to make things better.
Next time I go to the farmers market I do need to bring the reusable produce bag I got with me. I saw that one of the vendors carries zucchini along with small oranges which I can give to my fish and the birds. Yes I know its weird to buy items for them but it helps keep my fish healthy. Plus it gives the wild birds something besides seeds. Since I can not always give them seeds since we have a rat problem.
Found what looks like a bum bag that I had gotten a while ago and used it yesterday when I went to the farmers market. Will be getting another one down the road when I have a chance to save up money for one. Will be getting some new Docs this week since I will have the opportunity to go to the Dr Marten store to get them along with some new laces.
