22: Given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, what would happen?

yuan would most likely come up with the next crazy magitech idea that he would never use in a million years or make a football paper and just chuck the paper and pencil all at someone’s head. if it was a pen, he could shoot paper wads at people’s heads. truly, it’s just how he’s feeling that day.

42: How far did they get in formal education? What are their views on formal education vs self-education?

yuan has gotten pretty far in formal education. though he had gone only so far in schooling education during the war, after the war he had spent a many of times getting doctorates and degrees on several topics at a university. as much of an idiot has many people sometimes see him as, he’s a very intellectual man with a plethora of knowledge in magitech, biology, chemistry, and psychology.

his thoughts are, if you have the means. it wouldn’t be a bad idea to get a formal education, but he’s known plenty of people who never had the circumstances and with the right material have done FAR better than what a formal education could offer. it’s all about the professors, really. and how dedicated one is to learning.

15: Biggest and smallest short term goal?

right now, his biggest short term goal is fixing up the hole that a certain someone’s mithos had created in his forest. taking care of the charred trees and getting the ground prepped for more trees to be planted.

in terms of smallest? probably getting his tea stash replenished. (and maybe finding his dog)

16: Biggest and smallest long term goal?

i don’t- think yuan has a smallest long term goal. all of his goals are pretty big. correcting the mana in the world, creating the aselian world council, helping the half-elf movement, and getting the world tree strong and mature. he has a lot on his plate in terms of getting things done in next couple hundred years. so there’s that.

— Yuan has a bad heart. One can take that in the literal sense and even the figurative sense. Either way, if a doctor were to look at his heart, they would say it’s bound to fail on him. And it most likely would have, if not for his Hi-Exsphere. Prolonged use of a spell that was incomplete caused too much damage to it.

✦ Fatal flaw

— He’s a saboteur, from when he was young until the day he decided friends and like were too much for him. If Yuan has any idea that he’s getting too close to someone, he quickly shuts the door before the person can get anywhere close to him. Refusing to allow himself to get close to anyone and to find them slipping from his fingers could break his heart. His empathy and love for those he holds dear is his greatest downfall. Really, his heart is his weakness.

✮ A moral standard

— aaaahh, i have been stuck on this one for a very long time, but i really cannot give definate moral standard for yuan. it all comes to circumstances. he's not exactly a moral person. he does certain because of certain reasons, and they'll come out really heartless. kill a baby? yeah, if he had to. kill a woman? ye, he ain't against that. kill a defenseless person? oh heck yeah, easier for him man.

it doesn't take much to figure out what's going on. but i can see yuan as being the worst guy to watch a movie with. especially when it comes to sci-fy flicks. he'd pick at everything that isn't correct. (like when space ships make noise when they do jumps or move) and he'd prolly pick at everything that pissed him off. never. shutting. up.

There are only three people in the world that can get away with stealing food from Yuan. Number one is Kratos. (screwyoukratos), number two is Martel (butwhendidsheever?), and number three is Lloyd (you,yousonofkratos).

Was there a special reason for you to choose to specialize in fighting with that double blade thing instead of a normal weapon like a sword or a spear?

"I use the double edge blade for it's range, fluid motion, and speed that it provides. While swords only provide for a 180 degree fighting capability  I'm able to swing my Swallow for a 360 degree attack that allows to keep my backside covered should I need to. The double edge part of it allows for a more fluid and danger attack compared to a spear where it only has a blade at one end." It's like taking Lloyd's 200% and turning it into a feasible solution.
