Really, your motives are totally admirable, and if someone comes to you themselves wanting help, by all means, help them. I think the issue is that someone who's upset getting spammed by a bunch of strangers, even positively, could easily feel humiliated and even more upset. You might be safer having a list of people who DO want that support rather than a list of people who have to specifically ask not to, by which point the damage is already done.

As NoOneUnimportant Admin said, we are rebooting this blog after a long period of inactivity, and are bound to make some mistakes as we get things up and running. Reporting us, and possibly having this blog taken down before we have a chance to make a positive impact on the community, helps no one.
