I wanted to count how many lollipops Zhao Yunlan eats during the 40-episode show and it is quite a lot, lol. Some lollipops appeared to be part of the same scene or part of flashbacks of scenes I'd already counted the first time through, so I didn't count them again.

Also kudos to Bai Yu for being so consistent to this little detail. It definitely is a defining characteristic, to the point that Shen Wei uses it to describe him when he loses him in Dixing. I will never be over this show!

Not gonna lie, I’m such a sucker for a good redemption arc and a redeemable baddie. But sometimes, you gotta love a psychotic bitch for who he is, right?

I honestly wish we had gotten more of Ye Zun. We got a lot of him in the tower, but man, he could’ve caused a lot more havoc while he was topside.

Anyway, here’s my tribute to Ye Zun.

Hello lovelies! This is my first-ever fan-made video for the drama Guardian (  镇魂 )  with the song This is War by 30 seconds to Mars. **SPOILERS**

I fell in love with this show so quickly and instantly knew I wanted to help create more content for this beloved shows and these beloved characters.

I made this just for fun and don’t own any of the material or the song.

Da Qing is a super interesting character who I wish we saw more of. I want to know what he was up to for those thousand years after Shen Wei and Kunlun were with him, but before Zhao Yunlan 'adopted' him. I don't want anything bad to happen to him ever.

With years of being alone, I can only imagine how hard it must be for him to connect with others and not having to worry about whether or not they are going to abandon him, or DIE or whatnot. Da Qing just deserves the world and I’m so glad he has his found family in the SID team.
