Sup Tanya! It's Guardress again. Do you know of any places (sites, blogs, galleries, etc.) that have a big collection of Sailor Moon artwork from the 90's anime? The higher the quality the better. I want some references for some things but I'm not sure where to look.

In fact, there was no custom of celebrating birthdays in Japan until around 1950! Before this, there was only one day on which to celebrate birthdays (everyone’s birthday) and that day was New Year’s Day." From tofugu.

Interesting. I think my thing is usually when it’s a birthday party for two people usually those two people birthday’s be close together. Like in the same day, weeks or month. Like if Har and Hotaru have a birthday party together since their birthdays both in January. Of course Usa and Chibs have a party together. With them celebrating Mako and Mina’s with Mina’s being in Oct and Mako being in Dec it seems weird to me. If that’s the case they birthday should have been Ami’s ,Mina, and Mako’s since her’s was in September. That’s like me and my mom. Both of our Birthdays are in March so if we have a birthday party will have it together. It’s not like me and best friend who’s birthday is in August. It wouldn’t make any sense since my birthday would have been passed.

Guardress again! I think it's interesting that volume 11 shows both the moon and Earth, which seems like it symbolizes not only the two of them but how they now watch over both celestial bodies. Also I totally feel like the style of the BluRay covers are meant to mimic the style Naoko used on the Perfect Edition covers (namely a lot of the gem cutouts being used for accessories like brooches or digital graphics used as accents).

Hi! Agreed! It both of their responsibilities to watch over the earth and the moon now. I really think Yukie has done an overall good job on the covers. Yes some facial expressions on them can look wonky but overall they are some very pretty covers. She showed out on Usa/Mamo and NQS/ KE covers which mean she’s shippers trash like most of us. lol I really wish she would have colored her Shitennou drawing but you did that! :-D

I find it funny that now everyone wants to be aware about whats going on in the anime industry when it’s been said during the whole time Crystal was airing and way before then. Your post and many others ( like blackmanta) basically scream that like you said. Now people want to listen because Dragonball is the latest victim of something that being going on for not years but decades which has gotten worse. sip that tea dear!

Sup Tanya, it's Guardress! Wondering if you or the JSS and other peeps could help me find if anyone has posted hi-res images of all the Bluray cover art so far. I've found some big images, like desktop wallpaper size, for Venus and Mercury, but no one else!! Some posts on Tumblr also have good resolution but smaller sized versions of the art too. Any idea where to find them all in larger sizes?
