Howl died.
The news hit like a weight unknown. Asami had knew people who died before but, for some reason hearing the deah of Howl made her heart hurt. With a well placed hand on the chest she tilted her head down; eyes on the floor. The emotions that began to flow through her veins were ones she didn't think she would feel; only knowing Howl for a short time it was a surprise to her. With a step back she began to isolate herself from the group. Finding a wall to lean on she pressed her back hard against it burying her now flushed face into her hands. He had become a friend to her, like Mako, Bolin and Korra. It may have only been a short time..but Asami cherished every moment she had with these people. They became her new family when--he betrayed her. She attempted to hold the tears that began to push through her finger tips but, the fight was lost. Removing her hands Asami lifted her head pushing back her emotions. She pushed back the tears.She pushed back the frown that formed on her lips.She pushed back the pain.Peeling herself from the wall she let her arms move gently by her side as she walked back to her friends--"Korra. I'm so sorry.."Forgetting the pain she felt, Asami knew her strength was needed now. The man was hired to protect Korra and until the end he did just that--moving towards Korra, Asami consumed her into a hold.
