IDK I just spent some of my time playing Id pondering what the concept of "beyond love and hate" means for Guda -

the chapter establishes that even though they have the capacity to hate, enough hate to even have the potential to become an Avenger, they'd choose not to. no doubt bearing a grudge would be justified and revenge would be satisfying but they wouldn't be "Ritsuka Fujimaru" anymore then, they're just not the sort of person who fights to kill an enemy they hate, they're fighting to save the world.

but at the same time, do you think they, after everything they've been through, could really say they love the world? maybe its the cynic in me but I feel like the only people who could say they love the world and everything in it are either small children with little life experience or genuine article messiahs, and Guda is neither, they're still on some level an ordinary person.

so maybe, approaching the final battle not in order to kill a hated enemy, and not to save the world, but something simpler - "in order to live" like they said to Goetia. becoming an avenger or becoming a messiah, both are self-destructive and so even though they're always dancing in that space between they can't become either, at least not while remaining themself.

i want to write a fanfic about the backrooms so bad but idk the full loreeee

something where there is a helpful entity who goes by the name of fujimaru ritsuka, guiding people in the deeper levels to safety, warding off other harmful entities... the thing is, nobody can remember their face or gender because everytime the person looks at them theres something like a blur or something blocking their senses from PERCIEVING their face but numerous accounts say theyre black haired, or sunset colored hair, some claim theyre male, others female, but no one can forget how kind they were guiding them to safety... im still undecided whether i want guda to speak or they lose the ability to do so along the way...but if they dont/cant speak they can fully understand the language of the person theyre talking to so theres no barrier but speaking is a whole other thing, and if i want guda to speak, maybe i should have ritsuka get cursed where they cant speak about anything regarding about them?? augh a good idea also is ritsuka doesnt KNOW who they are but they got this ability that lets them summon familiar shadows that come to their aid and fend off against other entities...

guda just. living in between liminal spaces, backrooms, pool rooms,dream scapes after/in between fgo events just. it feels so tragic yet so fitting for me i love it so much augghhdhdjdjfj
