Tatsuma Mido -A Character Analysis-
Mido Tatsuma => 身堂竜馬 [ 身堂 (midō): body temple, 竜馬 (ryōma): splendid horse, promoted bishop]
(身堂 (midō) => “身 :acquire, body”, “堂 :hall, temple”)
He’s described as a beautiful boy in all of the media he’s in
One of the main characters of Gakuen Taikutsu Otoko (ガクエン退屈男, Guerrilla High) (1970)
< I want to talk about his backstory and my headcanon about him >
• He possibly has Narcissistic Personality Disorder
1. Believes he’s special, unique
Does not like to be underestimated, wants to protect his reputation
He’s beautiful, smart and loved by everyone except his “parents”. He is pretty aware of his beauty and talents, so he didn’t understand why he’s not receiving the same attention and love as his brother receives from their parents.
2. Lacks empathy
It may sound like a normal jealousy sibling situation until you find out he poured acid on his own brother’s face.
He felt no empathy when he did that, his only intention was to be “the prettier son” by ruining his brother’s face, so his parents would like him more.
3. Is interpersonally exploitative
It’s important to mention that Toranosuke seems to not know what was Tatsuma’s problem with him and his parents. So I think he wasn’t an abusive brother. Tatsuma felt no remorse for hurting him even though he didn’t do anything wrong to Tatsuma.
He wants to kill Toranosuke to feel better about his own identity.
4. Has a sense of entitlement (unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with his expectations)
Learning the truth from “the father”. Tatsuma couldn’t stand the fact that he’s “just a clone” of Toranosuke and killed both of the parents. He also burned the house down to be sure Toranosuke is dead.
After he learned Toranosuke is alive, he had a new goal: kill the original and be the real thing
Hey, is the Guerrilla High fandom still alive or-

Like I’ve said in the past, I don’t usually post my Devilman/Violence Jack/ Go Nagai scans here. I post them on my Twitter account, which you can find here. (the account is 18+ by the way)
However, I’m a really big fan of these, and I wanted them on my blog. These are all from the January 1987 issue of Fanroad magazine. These feature advertisements for the second Violence Jack OVA, along with a massive Go Nagai fan art showcase. There’s mostly Devilman and Violence Jack fan art here, but there’s also surprisingly many Enma Kun drawings.
I would recommend opening these images in a different tab and zooming in to see everything on these pages. I really can’t pick which piece of fan art is my favorite, but I have a soft spot for this very silly Jack.
