Ernesto “Che” Guevara — the great internationalist and revolutionary leader — died 57 years ago on Oct. 9, 1967, at the hands of Bolivian soldiers who were trained, equipped, and put in motion by U.S. Green Beret and CIA operatives.

Che’s last words proved their defeat and his victory: “Shoot, cowards. You are only going to kill a man.” Che still lives.

After I designed that miniature of Tony Foti’s Rebel Scout, I was inspired to work on other arboreal-themed Rebel trooper types. I’ll confess I struggled getting the aesthetics down, but Hero Forge’s latest updates added some new helmet types, including a sports helmet that I thought worked really well for my kickass infantrywomen. I got inspired and ended up with fifteen soldiers in total! @evillordzog
