The Return of the Flightless Bird
How long had it been since the last time he was in Republic City? Months? Years? Either way he felt as though he no longer knew the luciousious city that was once filled with excitement. Everything seemed different to him. Everything was diffrent to him. The streets that had once been alternative routes were now paved, a permanant addition to the city. Everything was permanent it felt. You either lived in the city and stayed there, or you left the city and never returned. Guess who didn't get the memo.
Luckily he had made some improvements to his life since the last time he was here. Helpless, alone, powerless. It had taken so much for him not to just quite right after being striped of his only permanent pleasure in life. The mop that sat on his head was replaced by a nice purple set of locks. Not too short, not too long. His flamboyancy had gone down quite a bit, but then again so had his budget. No one would take a famous probender... without his bending. Walking along the sidewalk glances were passed, but no one questioned him of who he was. That was it then, he was officially just another normal person then. The apartment Narook had given him was on top of his shop. All he had to do was pay rent here and there and he would be good to go. If only he could find Narook's... where was it again?
"E-Excuse me, do you happen to know where Narook's noodle shop is?" He happened to tap the first person's shoulder he could find, unknowing if they were going to be kind or not.
