Linda had a historic stone cabin on her farm, so she decided to turn it into a guest house.

Here it is, now. 

Look at how nicely the stone walls turned out, and the floor is beautiful. The red fencing on the loft is an old stock rack from the farm.

There’s a kitchenette under the stairs. 

This hall leads to the bathroom.

Very nice. 

Stairs to the loft bedroom - look at the railing, it’s a ladder.

What a cozy loft.

This is the most adorable little cabin- I love the way they decorated it.

It’s 2 rooms. This is the first room. 

It has the sweetest kitchenette.

Through the door is the 2nd room.

It’s a 2nd bedroom/sitting room, with it’s own sink. This is too cute.

As certain lakes in Northwestern Wisconsin become upscale “destination” lakes, many of their original cabins are being razed to make room for larger lake homes.  This has ushered in the era of “D9 renovation,” so named for one of the largest bulldozer models available from Caterpillar.
