My last day at my season job last year in guest services, (I work at an amusement park) it had been raining all day. Naturally, rides down. All day. And guests complaining. "This was my last chance and all the rides blah blah bitch bitch fuck you guys! Ahh!"

That kind of constant negativity hits you hard and after 13 hours, I wanted something to eat. I went to Barby's for a roast beast sandwich (you know what I'm talking about now) and realized all I had for money on me was the stupid gift card that the company gave us as an incentive to work those last few weeks. That card, I found out after ordering, was empty.

God bless food and beverage workers. 'Cause I sat down at one of the booths and the cashier came over and said, "I got the manager to approve it to just give you the meal for free." I literally hugged the girl in tears and told her she was the first person who had been nice to me all day.
