I can't stop imagining that last image...was 5 seconds before you were swarmed with reassuring kisses, hugs, and more, replacing that embarrassment with flusteredness lmao...all of them doing what they've been dying to do for a long time! Not escaping until you're completely red and covered in kisses as a sorta 'no need to feel shame that we heard what you said...because it made us love you more!'

And funnier add on if you want...every time you feel embarrassed about it, one of the cookies rushes up to kiss ya on the cheek before scattering away like 'wait wait wait baker feels bad! Hold on! *small kiss* ok, crisis averted! All good!'

I know so much little bits of lore despite only being a quarter of the way in world 8.

Can you imagine the baker knowing all the later story bits but the cookies being in the early story bits?

Lord help them if the baker accidentally reveals stuff about Beast-Yeast.

Oh, you would have to keep pretty tight lipped about your knowledge of future events to make sure the plot continues as it's supposed to! Even if there were some events and suffering your favourite Cookies went through that you wished you could stop u m u Some Cookies are more perspective, so they may catch on that you know more than you admit. It's not entirely surprising, cause you're the Baker, the godlike powers and knowledge are just par for the course. Some Cookies, like the Ancients, would want to know of future events once they are introduced to Beast-Yeast naturally as they were supposed to, so they can be a step ahead and prevent Dark Enchantress' plans before she even has a chance to enact them! But that's the funny thing with time and precognition. If you reveal what you know in order to help, would things go differently? If they do, you no longer will know that the future will hold and will be left in the dark. And who's to say that you revealing the future won't make things worse if the Cookies try to prevent the future you foretold? So it might be better to keep the fact you know what will happen to yourself.

This concept is actually something that I will play with in the self aware crk fic! :3c
