Stained glass windows in Dahlgren Chapel of the Sacred Heart were removed yesterday to allow for restoration to the building's 118-year-old foundation. A $6 million gift from L. Francis (C’75, L’78) and Kathleen (F’77) Rooney, in addition to support from other generous donors, initiated the much-needed renovation.
